Daingerfield- Funeral services for Barbara Kay Strong, 68, of Lone Star will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, April 3, 2015 at South Union Baptist Church with Bro. Chad Thompson officiating. Burial will be in the Iron Bluff Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.Barbara was born on August 6, 1946 in Dallas, Texas to James Burk Baker, Jr. and Annie Sue Norris Baker. She died on March 30, 2015 in Longview. She was a member of South Union Baptist Church and employed by Cypress Bank in Lone Star.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bud Strong, Jr. and brother Norris Wesley Baker.She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Trisha and Danny Carey of Daingerfield; son and daughter-in-law Scot and Torri Wright of Naples; sister Linda Chapman and husband Gary of Allen, Texas; Stepsons, Randy and Kathy Strong of Baytown and Philip and Becky Strong of Diana; 10 grandchildren, Logan Wright, Reagan Wright, Sydney Carey, Lori Kaiser and Donnie, Emily Moor and Halley, Dawn Mullings and Tim, Dena Scurlock and Wil, Dave Strong, Heather Arais and Clem, Megan Strong and 11 great grandchildren.Family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
