    Charles Roy Beasley

    October 14, 1932 - July 8, 2020

    Charles R. Beasley of Upland, CA went to be with the Lord on July 8, 2020. He was born on October 14, 1932 in Henderson, Tx to Leroy Beasley and Clattice Maxwell. He was raised in New London, Tx. And attended school there.Charles served 20 years in the USA Air Force where he earned the Distinguished Flying Cross for his service in Viet Nam. After retirement he worked at many things; the last job he held was with The Bob Pierce World Vision International. Charles was preceded in death by his brother Billy Ray Beasley, father Leroy Beasley, mother Clattice Hervey and granddaughter Ashleigh Beasley.Survived by his wife of 50 years Rosa Beasley of Upland, Ca; daughter Kaleta S. Burgin of Daingerfield, her two sons Michael A. Proctor of Daingerfield, Cody L. Burgin of Dekalb; son Roy K. Beasley and wife Vicki Turner Beasley of Daingerfield, their 3 sons Jason R. Beasley of Daingerfield, Joel L. Beasley of Daingerfield and Jeffery W. Beasley of Naples; his daughter Cindy K. Newton and husband John Newton of Rockport, Tx., their 2 children Newton of Forney, and Jacie Wallace of Santa of Santa Fe, Tx.; his son Dennis R. Beasley of Daingerfield and his daughter Tiffany Beasley Stevens. He was blessed with 18 great grandchildren and one great great grandson; his step children all of California include Enrique and wife Miram Poire, Rein and wife Patty Poire, Renaldo and wife Gina Poire, and Silvana Garcia and husband Domingo Garcia. He was blessed with 15, step grandchildren, 21 step great grandchildren and 5 step great great grandchildren.Charles lived his life loving God, and his family with all his heart and he will be missed more than words could ever say.Services will be 10 A.M. Saturday at Nail-Haggard Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Pete Thompson officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 9 till service time Saturday.
