Chester ByrdDaingerfield- Graveside services for Chester Byrd, 83 of Lone Star will be 10 A.M. Friday, July 1, 2016 at Our Lady of The Pines Cemetery in Daingerfield with Kenny Shaver officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.Chester was born on April 19, 1933 in Morris County to Alvin Thomas and Esther Byrd and died on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 in Little Rock, Ark. He was a veteran of the U S Army and retired from T & N Warehouse.Chester was preceded in death by his parents, wife Patricia Byrd, brothers James Byrd and John Byrd, sisters Joyce Byrd and Bonnie Jones.Survived by his daughters and sons-in-law Kathleen and Gene Dudley of Little Rock, Cindy and Evan Lewis of Little Rock; son Thomas Vilches of Little Rock; grandchildren, Phillip Aaron Lafferty, Benjamin Lumpkin and Kaitlyn Lewis; brothers Lester Byrd of Daingerfield, Dois Byrd of Daingerfield, Loarn Byrd of Daingerfield and Willie Byrd of Lone Star; sister Edith Sexton of Lone Star.Family will receive friends from 5 till 7 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
