Graveside services for Gerald Allen Scott, 61 of Daingerfield will be held at 4:00 P.M. Sunday, December 20, 2020 at the Daingerfield Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.Gerald was born of October 16, 1959 in Crockett, Texas to James and Alice Kelley Scott. He died on Tuesday, December 15, 2020.Gerald was a graduate of Daingerfield High School class of 1978 and was a former employee of Lone Star Steel for 29 years where he was a locomotive engineer. He was a member of Local United Steelworkers Union #4134 and received his diesel mechanic degree.He was preceded in death by his father James Edward Scott and son-in-law Brandon Kennemer.Survived by his wife Rhonda Scott of Daingerfield; sons Kasey Scott and wife Stormi of Hughes Springs, Jarred Scott of Daingerfield; daughter Amanda Rockwell and husband Karl of Daingerfield; mother Alice Scott of Madisonville; brothers Haden Scott of Houston, Nathan Scott of Madisonville, Jeremie Scott and wife Stefanie Hancock of Groesbeck; sisters Shelia Gunther and husband Ricky of Flynn, Terpi Scott of Normangee; grandchildren Brian Kennemer, Allana Kennemer, Isabella Scott, Jaedalynn Scott, Zayne Scott, Landyn Alford Scott, Layne Scott, Layla Scott, Karl Rockwell, Jr., Xzavier Brown, Olivia Olivella, Chevelle Smith, Charlie Smith and Carter Olivella; several nieces and nephews.s.Online condolences may be made at Nail-HaggardFH.com
