Interment will follow in the Blevins Cemeteryunder the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home. Mr. Edwards was bornNovember 13, 1948 in Pittsburg, Texas and died Tuesday, June 28, 2011 in Dallas. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cason, he was retired from Lone Star Steel and was Vice President of Blevins Cemetery Association. His parents, Florene & Fred E. Edwards Jr, and brother, Danny Edwards preceded him in death.Survivors include, wife, Lessie Edwards of Daingerfield; granddaughters, Lindsey Hughes & husband Bryan, & Brandy Weems, of Daingerfield; nephews, Chris Edwards and wife Courtney of Hughes Springs, Jake Edwards of Dallas; step-sons, Tommy Weems of Georgia, Donald Weems of Mesquite; great nephews, Caden, Cole & Corbin Edwards of Hughs Springs.
