Burial will be in Liberty Hill Cemetery in Titus County. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.Nelda was born on November 19, 1951 in Mt. Pleasant to Bill and Lena Easley. She died on Sunday, July 21, 2019.Nelda was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church, a beautician, worked as a CNA and a homemaker.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bert Velin, sisters Doris Russell, Bobbie Easley and Joyce Easley, son Donnie Michael Lewis.Survived by daughter Rhonda Scott and husband Gerald of Daingerfield; sons Troy Velin and wife Jody of Cason, Ricky Velin of Cookville, Micky Velin and wife Melissa of Mt. Pleasant; sisters Carolyn Cunningham and husband James of Mt. Pleasant, Linda Huggins and husband Ollie of Euless; 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.Family will receive friends from 1 till 2 Thursday at the church.Online condolences may be made at Nail-HaggardFH.com
