O. B. ConnorDaingerfield- Services for O. B. Connor, 90 of Daingerfield will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, February 21, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Daingerfield with Bro. Don Ross officiating. Burial will be in Daingerfield Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home. O. B. was born September 10, 1925 to Willie and Julia Connor and died on February 18, 2016. He was the first of three sons after four daughters. He served his country in the Navy during World War II. On January 3, 1948 he married the love of his life, Betty Sue Whitecotton. He started work at Lone Star Steel January 6, 1948 and retired 38 years later. He is preceded in death by his parents, 4 sisters and two brothers.Mr. Connor is survived by his wife of 68 years, Betty Sue Connor of Daingerfield and two sons Ron Connor and wife Peggy of Naples and Danny Connor and wife Lorri of Arp; three grandchildren, Jodi Palmer of Willis, David Connor and wife Carrie of Hughes Springs and Lana Woodley and husband Jim of Lindale; 7 great grandchildren Baylee Richard, Trevor Richard, Trent Palmer, Jordan Dennis, Hanna Connor, Chase Woodley, and Madison Woodley; two sister-in-laws Annie Irvin and Ora Clubb of Naples and a host of nieces and nephews.Family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20 at the funeral home.
