Burial will be in the Veal Switch Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.Ray was born on August 2, 1937 in Omaha, Texas to Milton and Lois Cook Jones. He died on Sunday, May 20, 2018.He was a member of Veal Switch Baptist Church. Ray worked for Tuboscope and T & N for 54 years.Preceded in death by his parents, brother Tob Jones, sister Myra Jo Tucker and grandson Adam Ferris.Survived by his wife of 60 years Sarah Floyd Jones of Daingerfield; daughters and son-in-law Stephany Jones and Kevin Ferris of Daingerfield; Sandy Jones Shaffer of Henderson; 5 grandchildren Blake Ferris, Zach Ferris, Garrett Long and wife Kayla and Derek Long; 3 great grandchildren Eli Long, Alyssa and Ava.In Lieu of flowers make donations to Adam Ferris Memorial Scholarship FoundationNTCC Foundation, % Lori Hunter, [email protected] will receive friends from 6 til 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.Online condolences may be made at Nail-HaggardFH.com
