Scottie J. MillerDaingerfield- Services for Scottie J. Miller, 85 of Daingerfield will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, January 22, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Cason with Bro. Scott Darby officiating.Burial will be in the Blevins Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.Scottie was born on April 5, 1931 in West Point, Texas to Scott and Beulah Miller. He died on Thursday, January 19, 2017 in Oklahoma City, Ok.He was a member of First Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant. Scottie served in the U S Army during the Korean Conflict where he was stationed in Germany. He was retired from the Texas Department of Transportation.Scottie was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Henry and George Miller, sisters Mable McDavid, Grace Dolle and Beryl Wheeler.Survived by his wife of 61 years Shirley H. Miller of Daingerfield; daughter and son-in-law Chris and Wayne Wilson of Oklahoma City, Ok.; grandsons Scott Wilson and Evan Wilson; sister and brother-in-law Marie and Joe Skipper of Daingerfield; Several nieces and nephews.Family will receive friends from 2 till service time Sunday at the church.
