Burial will be in Daingerfield Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.Stephen was born on April 22, 1955 in Marshall, TX to Jack and Reba Watson Bassett. He died on Saturday, September 15, 2018 in Longview, TX. Steve was a member of the Baptist Faith and worked as a draftsman for a steal fabrication company.He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Bassett and brother, Bryan Bassett.Survived by wife, Susan Bassett of Avinger; mother, Reba Bassett of Daingerfield; sister-in-law Tori Bassett of Daingerfield; niece Britnie Bassett of Euless; 2 great nephews, Lawrence Jones and Bryson Bassett of Euless, several cousins.Family will receive friends from 6-8 Monday, September 17, 2018 at Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.
